Ok, I think the 3rd one with a better picture (not blurred) and a more interesting masthead could work really well. I like the colour of it and the font of the cover lines, as well as the simplicity works well. I think the mid shot on the cover would work better than the close ups. The first one in my opinion is too simple, I think the second ones photographs would work best on a contents or dps, but I like the masthead. With the fourth one I think you may have too many cover lines and the masthead doesn't stand out particularly. So overall, my favourite out of the four is the third one.
Yo :) I feel that the third mock-up down is a nice shot although the image could be inlarged alot more to improve the mise en scene overall. I feel that the studio background works well with the shot however. Maybe also the image could slightly overlap the masthead? Just an idea :)
Remember the deadline for submitting your mock Cover, Contents and DPS is Friday the 11th. You'll need original images on all of them. The media room will be open after school every night this week should you require any additional help.
